Was just browsing through ffffound, and saw a few of these.

I WANNA C-U-P

Twas on a plane back from Iceland the other day (which, by the way, is an awesome country). I was busy sleeping and trying not to choke on my own knees, while my girlfriend was taking advantage of the free bevvies. I woke to find she's nabbed me this sexy little number.




She knows me so well. Shame it got a bit bashed. Daisy thought it was helvetica, In my sleepy state I thought some form of Din... Maybe Akzidenz? Either way, nice idea, cool little cup.

END OF THE NAUGHTIES

Well, I just finished my first graphics uni project. Sadly it was based on typography and photography. Blast.
We had to come up with some kind of quote to sum up this decade, and represent that through a physical medium. Or something. Here's what I did.

TAKING PHOTOS

I was given a photography brief today. Basically, I walked around Oxford taking photos of bits and bobs, and I'm using jamblog to present them for the tutor to see.

My idea/plan was to photograph anything that struck me. Be it beautiful, funny, ugly, etc. While I was waiting for the train, I made a list of words which I wanted to try and concentrate on throughout the day. Message, Type, Texture, and Negative-Space.

I've always been fascinated by the way we're bombarded with infomation, especially text. I like looking for the hidden beauty in the little details, which most people overlook and probably wouldn't consider. (I'm sure most of our readers feel the same)
