I don't actually know how new this site is, but it's been popping up on digg quite a bit recently. A bit like smashing magazine, but more personal - this website offers collections of design and illustration, tutorials, free downloadables, and all the usual geeky design blog type stuff. Good work. Check it out.
An article definitely worth looking through is their collection of 3D Type.
